Craig: I had a look around the level 5 and 6 spaces and found a few interesting pieces I think would fit our theme. Most of them are of a more sadistic nature but there are few that are fun. I picked a few of the pieces based the idea of a fun house/carnival.
I think this type of work would look good scattered around the exhibition.
Steph - We looked at the irons on the wall when we went round but didnt think they'd have the same effect without out the red on the wall and we're not gonna be able to paint on the space when we exhibit the work, but we left them a note asking them to contact us anyway so we could use the free standing irons that were on shelves? Also think we left a note for the little drawings of the robot and the voodoo doll type thing.
ReplyDeleteBecause everyone seemed to like the idea of having it very full and cluttered, think we're gonna go with the idea of having bits around the gallery, either small sculptures or small wall peices - A4 or less. We'll just have to wait and see who gets back to us now, we asked them to let us know via e-mail by the 7th of feb.
